The Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration is sponsoring free summer intramural sports and wellness initiatives for all FP&M and other VCFA employees. Recreational Sports will organize the sports and the Wisconsin Union will provide food coupons for participants.
Leagues and tournaments are scheduled throughout the summer, so you don’t have to pick just one. Any FP&M employee can participate, and it’s FREE!

Sand Volleyball
- Play begins Wednesday June 6 from 4:30-7pm and runs through July 18
- Registration closes May 29 at 11:59pm
- Play will be a 4v4 format
- Play will occur at Cole Beach sand volleyball courts
- Free parking in lot 62 after 4:30pm
Kickball
- Kickball will begin in July and run for 4-6 weeks in a league format
- Play begins Tuesday July 24th from 4:30-7pm and runs through August 21
- Registration closes July 17 at 11:59pm
- Teams will play 10 people at a time
- Play will occur at the Near West Fields
- Free parking in lot 62 after 4:30pm
Bowling
Bowling will be a one time event in partnership with the Wisconsin Union.
- Monday, June 25 4-8pm at Union South (Sett Recreation)
- Registration closes Tuesday June 19 at 11:59pm
Cornhole (Bag Toss)
Cornhole will be a one time event (we have two tournament dates) in partnership with the Wisconsin Union.
- Monday, July 16 from 4-8pm at Memorial Union
- Registration closes Tuesday July 19 at 11:59pm
- 2v2 tournament format
- Wednesday, August 15 from 4-8pm at Union South
- Registration closes Tuesday August 7 at 11:59pm
- 2v2 tournament format
VCFA Wide Step Challenge
- June 4 through August 24
- Registration is ongoing throughout the summer
- Individuals will report their step totals biweekly
- Prizes will be awarded to top individual steppers and VCFA Divisions with the most steps over the summer
- Participants will need to track their own steps via fitness tracking device or smartphone application
