All employees

Online: Workday Fundamentals for Employees – 45 minute course

  • Introduces you to the core concepts of Workday.
  • Includes basic navigation, the worker profile and ‘My Tasks’, security roles, workflow (called a business process in Workday), and more.
  • Learn how to navigate within Workday, view and edit your information, complete tasks, and access additional resources.

If you are a P-Card holder or travel for work, please take these additional courses:

Online: Expense Reports and Credit Cards in Workday (Part 1) – 40 minute course

  • Provides an overview of the Workday Expenses Hub and how to create and submit expense reports.
  • Highlights key Workday mobile app functionality which allows users to capture receipts and create expense reports quickly and conveniently.

Online: Expense Reports and Credit Cards in Workday (Part 2) – 50 minute course

  • Builds off the knowledge gained in  part 1 by showing additional expense functionality in Workday.
  • Includes more uses for the Expenses Hub, reassigning transactions, spend authorizations and cash advances.
  • Addresses finding and inputting funding, itemization, cost sharing and accessing key reports.

Supervisors

Online: Workday Fundamentals for Managers – 40 minute course

  • Review what Managers can do in Workday and the benefits of manager self-service functionality.
  • Highlight resources that allow managers to quickly review key information for their direct reports and approve tasks awaiting their action.

  • Employees who need language assistance or who do not regularly use computers for their work can attend in-person training. Please reach out to your supervisor for more information.
