Join FP&M leaders and your coworkers for an update on our campus and division, including an introduction to new members of the FP&M leadership team, our expanded capabilities, and strategic plan. You can help set the topics by providing your feedback when you RSVP.
In addition to the program, which begins at 9 a.m., we’ll have plenty to do before and after. While socializing with your co-workers, enjoy refreshments, get a headshot taken or preview new FP&M apparel. Each FP&M employee will receive one free piece of apparel as part of UW-Madison’s 175th year, and this will be your first chance to see the options in person. We’ll also have some giveaways! Details to come.

Free professional portraits
You can schedule an appointment to take a free professional headshot before and after the program. It’s quick and easy — a photographer will snap your photo, and you will receive a link to the digital file of your headshot two weeks after the event. You must schedule an appointment to have your photo taken at the event. Your session should only take 1-2 minutes but to minimize wait time, you must book a time before the event.
Getting there and parking
We are pleased to note we’ll be expecting record attendance at this event! Please note our event ends at a popular times for students to visit Gordon. Please travel with caution and expect increased student traffic in the area.
Parking (both S-pass and visitor) in the area is extremely limited. Due to the student lunchtime traffic and our expected record turnout, please do not park in the immediate vicinity of Gordon (East Campus Mall, sidewalks, lawns).
Please plan ahead to walk, bike or take the bus to the event. If you must drive, please consider carpooling. Here are some resources from our Transportation Services colleagues:
- Map – You can use Google Maps to plot a walking, biking or bus route.
- Bike – There are abundant bike racks in the area, and there is a BCycle station at the northwest corner of Dayton and Lake Streets.
- Bus – The Route 80 campus bus serves Gordon and is free. No pass is required.
- Help – If you need assistance planning your route, please reach out to Commuter Solutions a few days before the event.
FP&M apparel
As part of our celebration of UW-Madison’s 175th anniversary, each FP&M employee will receive one free piece of apparel. This event will be your first chance to see the apparel in person and make your selection for ordering. Options will include:
- Polo shirts, crew neck shirts (short- and long-sleeved), and quarter-zip jackets
- Apparel labeled as men’s styles are available in sizes small to 4XL, while apparel labeled as women’s are available in sizes XS to 2XL.
- Samples in all sizes and styles will be available, but apparel to keep will not be available at the event.
- There will be other opportunities to preview and order the apparel.
A chance to connect in-person
Any FP&M employees are welcome to this event, and employees working remotely are welcome and encouraged to attend in-person if you are able to do so. If you are not able to attend, please note remarks will be recorded and available after the event, but the full experience will not be available online. We are also planning a multilingual event for second- and third-shift staff, as well.
See you soon
We hope to see you a week from today! We’re looking forward to an informative program, socializing with coworkers, and lots of fun. Please email communications@fpm.wisc.edu with any questions.
