Multilingual In-Person Workday Training for Custodial Services – Session 3

Check with your supervisor for details
-

Please note that FP&M Custodial Services, Campus Services, Grounds, Pest Control, Truck Services, and Waste & Recycling employees have already been scheduled to take this training, and your supervisor will provide you with details on the time and location of your training session.

UW-Madison and FP&M are offering a multi-week, in-person training series to help employees learn how to use Workday on a computer and smart phone. This training is designed for employees who do not use a computer in their work. Each employee will attend one two-hour training a week, and employees will go to training on the same day, time, and location, when possible.

No enrollment is necessary. Services employees will attend their training session during work hours. To find out when you have training sessions or ask questions, please reach out to your supervisor.

For Custodial Services:

Sessions are offered for employees working daytime, second and third shifts. They will be offered in English, Spanish, Hmong, Tibetan, Chinese, and Nepali (supported by Cultural Linguistic Services). Custodial Services employees will attend one training a week, three weeks in a row:

  • Session 1 (July 21 – 25): Log in, view pay slips and leave balances
  • Session 2 (July 28 – August 1): Update W2, W4, and benefits
  • Session 3 (August 4 – 8): Apply for internal positions, accept lump sums

For Campus Services, Grounds, Pest Control, Truck Services, and Waste & Recycling:

All FP&M Services employees have already been scheduled for training sessions. Please see details on your Workday training here. Your supervisor will inform you when you have training.
