Partners in Giving

Join a 52-year tradition of caring

Partners in Giving is the nationally-recognized state employee workplace fundraising campaign in Dane County, raising millions of dollars each year for over 500 charities. During the 2023 Partners in Giving campaign, employees donated more than $1.9 million to nearly 500 local, regional, national and international charities and their umbrella organizations. The charitable organizations in the Partners in Giving campaign support people, places and causes that have an enormous impact on the quality of life here at home and abroad. Since its inception in 1973 as the State Employees Combined Campaign, Partners in Giving has raised an astounding $88 million for charitable causes.

It’s your turn!

The active phase of this year’s campaign runs through Dec. 3. You can make a pledge online — it’s easy and safe – or mail your contribution. Learn more about all the ways you can give here.

Did you know that if every FP&M employee pledged $1 a month for a year, our division could donate more than $12,000? For the latest Partners in Giving drive, you’ll have plenty of ways to give to our community. From hybrid events and money wars, to drawings for prizes, you can get in on the fun and create positive change locally and globally.

Penny Wars

November 11 – 27

Prepare for the ultimate clash of coins and kindness in our Partners in Giving Penny Wars competition! Engage in a friendly battle of giving, where every penny, nickel, dime, quarter or more becomes a powerful tool for change. Your spare cash will help support our Partners in Giving campaign and make a lasting difference in the lives of those in need. Add pennies to your jars and sabotage your opponents with bigger change and paper money!

Rules: Pennies are positive points for your department, office, or shop. All other denominations of change and cash count as negative points when added to a different team’s jar.

  • Pennies = 1 positive point
  • Nickels = 5 negative points
  • Dimes = 10 negative points
  • Quarters = 25 negative points
  • $1 = 100 negative points
  • $5 = 500 negative points
  • $10 = 1000 negative points

No money can be removed from a jar for any reason.
