Hand icon pointing to profile icon, gear icon, and money iconUW-Madison and FP&M are offering multi-week, in-person training series to help employees learn how to use Workday on a computer and smart phone. These training sessions are designed for employees who do not use a computer in their work.  Each attendee has one two-hour training a week, and employees go to training on the same day, time, and location, when possible. Topics include:

  • How to log in, view pay slips and leave balances
  • Updating W2, W4, and benefits
  • Applying for internal positions
  • Accepting lump sums
  • Downloading the Workday app

All Physical Plant Services employees have already been scheduled for sessions by their supervisors. Find out more about in-person training for Campus Services, Grounds, Pest Control, Truck Services, and Waste & Recycling and multilingual, in-person training for Custodial Services. Your supervisor will inform you when you have training.

If your unit does not already have an in-person training series scheduled and would like to participate in this opportunity, please contact Kayla McConville at kayla.mcconville@wisc.edu.
