Stepping into Spring
The Step Challenge is back!
The FP&M Wellness team is excited to bring back the step challenge during the month of April 2022. This is a great way to be active and connect with your team. Participate to see how much you’ve been walking around campus, or go walking with a co-worker to brainstorm while soaking in the fresh air.
Will you help the FP&M team reach its goal of 10,000,000 steps?
The FP&M Step Challenge is a collaborative effort for FP&M employees to walk a total of 10,000,000 steps together as a division. Read on to see how to track your steps and get connected.

*While the free Count. It platform does not allow you to enter steps manually (i.e. equivalents for biking, dancing, cleaning the house, etc.) you can manually enter steps in your Apple IOS or Android device to synch into Count.It. Use the conversion table below for reference when turning activities into steps.
Conversion Chart
Steps-Per-Minute
No fitness tracker? No problem. Use the chart below to manually convert your activities into steps.
Simply find the activity’s Steps-Per-Minute (SPM).
- Multiply by the number of minutes you spent doing the activity.
- # Minutes Spent x SPM = # STEPS.
- Then, manually add your steps to the Count. It app.
If an activity is not on the list, you can get close enough by finding an activity on the table that is most similar and estimate its value.
