Technology can make us incredibly productive or incredibly frustrated. When it comes to workplace technology, are you curious, clueless, frustrated, or ready to level up and try something new? Or maybe all of the above? There are options for you at FP&M wherever you are starting from.
Join upcoming events this year! You can learn a variety of technology skills from peers or online, explore productivity boosters, find digital literacy resources, get more efficient using your calendar in Outlook, visit open computer labs or an AssetWorks Help Desk, use LinkedIn to connect or recruit, and know how to handle professional development travel expenses. Browse the options below to register for sessions and mark your calendar.
UW Madison has created a Knowledge & Skills Hub for employees who want to develop their skills, stay relevant in their career industry, or want to learn something new. You can browse by topic or by Job Group. You will also find information on how to set career goals and a Professional Development Plan template. These are all great resources as you prepare for our annual Performance Management & Development Planning (PMDP) conversations with your manager.
