BSC replacement program Team receives industry award

Employees from the FP&M Environment, Health & Safety team were recognized when UW-Madison received an award from the Campus Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Association (CSHEMA) July 13.

CSHEMA presented awards to recipients in a number of categories at its 72nd Annual Conference in Seattle.

UW-Madison received the 2025 Innovation Award for Resource Enhancement for a Large School institutional award for the biosafety cabinet (BSC) replacement team’s work on the Biosafety Cabinet Replacement Program.

The team thanks its partners and collaborators from the Office of Sustainability.
