On April 9, 2026, Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration (VCFA) Rob Cramer recognized projects and departments from FP&M at the 2026 Administrative Improvement Awards for employees across campus divisions. These awards recognize excellence in design, innovation, development, and customer service that resulted in improved efficiency, revenue channels, savings, and improved service delivery.
Congratulations to the following people, projects and departments who received Administrative Improvement Awards this year:

Green Gains – Recycling Audit for Cost Savings
Tim Blankenship, Martin Flanagan, Jeremy Oimoen, and Jeff Templin of Physical Plant, and Travis Blomberg of the Office of Sustainability received the Administrative Improvement Award in partnership with the Housing division.

Campus Lactation Space Map Initiative
Joel Malak of Environment, Health & Safety received an Administrative Improvement Award in partnership with the UW-Madison School of Education and UW-Madison Office of Human Resources.

Morgridge Hall General Assignment Classroom Technology Planning and Implementation
Matt Alexander, Ben Johnson, Derek Dombrowski, William “Billy” Huang, Donovan Kron, Ben Peters, Abraham “Abe” Schrump, and Patrick Wodzinski from FP&M Campus Planning and Design department received an Administrative Improvement Award for their efforts in the Morgridge Hall project.
