The 2026 FP&M Employee Recognition Awards have been rescheduled. We are pleased to announce that the ninth annual celebrations will now take place on:
- Monday, Sept. 21 | 11 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. | Late-night
- Thursday, Sept. 24 | 9:30 – 11 a.m. | Daytime
Join us to celebrate FP&M employees and all you do to keep campus going year round! All FP&M employees are invited to join during your normal work hours.

What is this?
The FP&M Employee Recognition Awards serve to connect and align a diverse workforce by recognizing coworkers whose contributions make a difference for others. Award recipients are selected from nominations submitted by peers, colleagues and the broader campus community.
While both events will be presented in English, the evening session will also offer CLS language services in Hmong, Tibetan, Nepali, Chinese and Spanish.
FP&M is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible event. If you need a reasonable accommodation, please contact Jessica Hamm at jessica.hamm@wisc.edu. All requests must be made by Sept. 1. We will attempt to implement late requests but cannot guarantee they will be met.

This year we had 63 award nominations. Thank you for all of your nominations and taking the time to recognize fellow employees at FP&M. Way to show up for your fellow staff, taking pride in our combined efforts to make campus go ‘round!
This is an employee-led effort. None of this would be possible without support throughout the division, and we wouldn’t be able to host this event today without your thoughtful nominations, which truly bring these stories to life. We heard you!
