Shout-outs – July 30, 2025 – Inside FP&M

See shout-outs and kudos to those who received a quick “thank-you” recently.

Joseph Westover

Thanks to Joe Westover for your work on Friday afternoon/evening of July 11th to repair Boiler #7’s Forced Draft Fan. Joe was on his way out on Friday afternoon, when he found out that Boiler #7 had a failure in the Fan Electrical Cabinet that shut down the boiler. He was able to take parts from another cabinet to get this repaired and Boiler #7 back on line. His actions prevented the need to call in additional staff to operate the Walnut Street Heating Plant through the entire weekend to provide the critical utilities to campus.

Ji Young Yeo

I just wanted to give a shout-out and thank-you to Ji Young! It seems like every time that I need to call or visit the transportation services office, she is there to help me. She is always very patient, thorough, and friendly. I can tell that she puts forth the very best effort into her job.

Transportation at UW-Madison can seem complicated, but Ji Young always provides the exact and precise information to make the experience possible. Please pass my gratitude onto Ji Young!
