“Cycle September” and Madison Bike Week

Sept. 12 – 18 is Madison Bike Week! Things are popping off around the city! Check out these local events to participate.

The Love to Ride Challenge is back this September! (Sound familiar? There was also a challenge in May for Bike Month!) Folks can log their bike rides for a chance to win cool prizes. There are several UW teams, including an FP&M team! See more details on the Love to Ride site.

Bicycle Events on Campus

The next Transportation Services bike event is September 21 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in person at the University Bicycle Resource Center (UBRC).

This event will teach you how to fix a flat front tire so you can ride with confidence!

Check out more information about the Bicycle Flat Fix event and more details on the University Bicycle Resource Center (UBRC), including a schedule for more bike classes.

Can’t join in person? UBRC classes in 2020-21 were held virtually and recorded—see the class recordings on YouTube.
