Bill Minser, Tony Ring & Logan Shallow
Thank you to Bill Minser, Tony Ring, and Logan Shallow for moving where the location usage information is displayed in Assetworks. Although this seemed like a small change, its difficult to ascertain the amount of work that goes into making that happen. The update has already decreased the amount of data entry. Thank you for all your behind the scenes software support.

Randy from Physical Plant
Shout out to Randy the HVAC guy from Physical Plant. We have been dealing with 3 very cold offices (50-60 degrees) and very hot in the summary (90 degrees). We put in a ticket last week, Randy showed up and was able to identify and resolve this issue! We have been dealing with this issue for years. We are VERY appreciative of him being able to fix the issue as it’s been miserable at times in these 3 offices. He was extremely helpful, personable, and even came to check on the status today to ensure that what he did worked. Excellent Customer Service! THANK YOU RANDY!!!

Grounds Crew (Lakeshore Path Snow Removal Team)
I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the effort that has been put into plowing on the Lakeshore Path this year. The surface is very good for bike travel!

Physical Plant Services
I just wanted to send a note to thank your team for the amazing work they have done to keep the streets and sidewalks on campus clear. After perilously driving on our city streets it is such a relief to get to campus and feel comfortable driving up and down Observatory Drive! And also being able to walk up and down Bascom Hill without fear.
I can only imagine how much work it took for your team to get the campus in this shape so I just wanted to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to your team. Their work does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.

Payloader Operator
Please send our thanks to the operator who was running the front-end loader at West Madison ARS this morning (1/23). While he was waiting for trucks to fill with salt, he helped push piles of snow further back into the ditch so we can maneuver better. It’s been a tough couple of weeks clearing snow here, so his effort is hugely appreciated.

Custodial Staff
I’ve noticed for quite some time that the stairwells/window sills in MSC have been cleaned. I really noticed when I came in the side door off of Charter Street (where the Medical Physics parking spot is). The vestibule didn’t have the ugly cobwebs I’ve come to admire. I know that custodial does not receive many complements and I finally am remembering to write them a huge shout out! In my seven years I’ve been back in this building, this is the cleanest I’ve seen it!

With a positive attitude, steadfast smile, and a good sense of humor, his commitment to excellence and ability to tackle daily challenges with enthusiasm are truly commendable. If you see Jeff, say “Thank you” for being a valuable asset to the team and for going above and beyond with hard work and energy that positively impacts all of us at the CSHC Plant.

Joe Shropshire
I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for all of the hard work you put into the renovations in 250 Van Hise. Your expertise and dedication were invaluable in ensuring that the project was completed on time and to the highest standards.
Throughout the renovation process, you went above and beyond to help us resolve issues that arose, even when they were beyond the scope of your work. You helped us resolve troubleshoot and brainstorm solutions to several issues, assisting us with items like the projector mount, & compatibility issues w/the furniture.
Your helpful attitude made all the difference in the success of this project. I’m truly grateful for all of the work you performed, and I’m glad that we had the opportunity to work with you.
