Bucky Clock repair crew

I’m a Badger from the class of ’98 and my son is now a freshman. He lives in Smith Hall and the other day I dropped him off and SAW the Bucky Clock!! I was so excited to see it!! Just wanted to give a shout out to those that restored Bucky and got him working again. I appreciate it so much!!

Toys for Tots Committee

High fives to the Toys for Tots committee: Carrie Ensrud, Pat Fargen, Perry Jones, Tim Netzloff, Emma DeGan, Tony McGrath, Brent Skaggs, and Brad Schenkel. I get to socialize with coworkers, eat delicious brats, AND do something good for the community? Many people look forward to this event every year, so thanks for all the hard work.

FP&M Procurement

I want to give a huge shout-out to our colleagues in FP&M Procurement. Our team is full of engineers and physicists, and while we understand radiation, we are not procurement experts. Yet, our work depends on purchasing complex items like radioactive materials, painfully expensive scientific instruments, and essential radioactive material licenses.

That’s why the procurement team is such a phenomenal resource for us. They are so exceptionally helpful and make our jobs so much easier. They patiently walk us through everything from the simple best judgement purchases to the far more complex requests for bids and requests for proposals.

It’s no coincidence that the entire group is so kind and helpful. From our direct interactions with Kyle, Andy, Deanna, and Brad, it’s clear they have done well to build a culture of outstanding support.

We truly couldn’t do our work as efficiently or effectively without their guidance. Thank you for being such an amazing and supportive partner!

– Jason Rusch
