Steve Heitz

I entered a ReADY request to have ice and snow removed along the path from the 30 N Mills southside handicap parking stalls, into the building. Turns out the sidewalk is the responsibility of Grounds and the handicap ramp to the building entrance is by Custodial. Not waiting for Custodial to get to it, Steve grabbed a shovel and ice scraper and had it done ASAP. Those with perfect balance and secure footing have no idea how an ice/snow covered path affects us. Thanks very much Steve!

FP&M helpers: Winter Commencement

Thank you to all FP&M staff who helped make Winter Commencement a success. Shout out to the Grounds Greenhouse Team who spent additional weekend hours helping to set the floral display on the stage, on top of a long week of snow removal. Great work!

Custodial staff at Sterling

Huge shout out to the custodial staff who came in to save the day when there was a plumbing issue in Sterling Hall. They quickly jumped into action, found the appropriate people to get things back to normal, and went the extra mile to clean a soaked rug. Thank you so much for your consideration!

Ben Rissman

Shout out to Ben Rissman for troubleshooting and navigating with and through DoIT to fix a long-standing problem. We did not know that our computers could run this efficiently! Thanks for always taking our concerns seriously. Your commitment to serving our department and your follow-through is second to none.

– Melanie Smith and the rest of Room 124

Michael Parrish and Myles Strandberg

On behalf of Rudy Johnson, I would like to pass along appreciation and gratitude for all of the tremendous efforts in keeping our Henry Mall/Stovall Building a clean and pristine environment to work in!

Your efforts have not gone unnoticed by our staff or our director who greatly value everything you and your cleaning team do to keep us safe, happy and healthy. Having a clean environment to work in is incredibly essential – especially around the cold and flu season when so many germs run rampant! Please pass along this note of appreciation to your cleaning team.

– Sara Anderson
