Shout-Out to Cheri Schweitzer! Cheri goes above and beyond to empower and encourage our food service operators to be their best. As an EH&S Health Inspector, she helps ensure food safety across the University and has dedicated long hours at Camp Randall supporting our colleagues at Levy as they prepare for their third-party audit.
Her professionalism, expertise, and positive attitude make a tremendous impact, helping our operators safely serve tens of thousands of guests. Thank you, Cheri, for all you do!

Sharon Woody
Sometimes it’s the little extra steps that make a CRAZY week so much easier, and Sharon did exactly that for me! She called and left me a voicemail reminding me that I needed to add dates to a work order—or submit new work orders. We talked about what would be easiest, I promised her I would take care of it as soon as I got back to the office, and then promptly forgot to “take care of it.”
Well, Sharon went the extra step TODAY and followed up by adding a comment to my work order with exactly what we had talked about. My response to her? “Told you I would forget.” Her response? “We are here to help you.” Thank you for taking that extra step, for following up, and for being one of those people on the on the other end of the phone line who is there to help us when our plates are overflowing.

John Kopish
I sent in a work order to have some lighting looked at 1433 Monroe Street. It used to be a drive through that is dark and we have the small toaster vehicles parking, bike racks where employees securely people park e-scooters and after a shift going out there in the dark. It was very poorly lit.
John Kopish of the Electric Shop showed up and got right to work. He checked in with me, figured out what the issue was, replaced ALL of the lights, put them on a timer system and what a difference new lights make from dark and dingy to bright and light! THANK YOU JOHN for the great communication and great job! We appreciate you!
