Please note the article in the June 6, 2024 FP&M e-mail employee newsletter had an error. (The print edition is correct.) The Fit & Ship event is not part of the Protective Footwear Reimbursement Policy. Although FP&M encourages custodial staff to take advantage of this offering, custodians are not currently required to wear slip-resistant shoes. FP&M Communications apologizes for the mistake.

FP&M custodial employees are eligible for the upcoming Safety Footwear Fit & Ship event June 11-12, 2024. A vendor will come to 45 N. Charter St. for custodial staff to try on and order a pair of slip-resistant shoes, free of cost for custodial employees. (Please note only the shoes offered at this event are free for employees.) Check with your supervisor for scheduled times. Come on out and upgrade your workwear!
